Our Doctors
SEAN JOSEPH DURKIN, MD
Dr. Sean Durkin is double-board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He received his MD from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. After residency, he completed fellowships in both Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston. His experience working in the ICU has motivated him to open a primary care practice where he hopes to prevent many of the diseases that would lead to an ICU admission.
At Precision Primary Care, Dr. Durkin focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered primary care with an emphasis on prevention, longevity, and the management of chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disease. His experience in critical care has shaped his proactive approach—helping patients address health concerns early and build sustainable, long-term wellness plans.
As Medical Director for Precision Primary Care and Savannah Wellness Clinic, he focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care that emphasizes prevention, continuity, and whole-person health. Dr. Durkin partners closely with patients to address both physical and mental health needs, align care with their personal goals, and support sustainable lifestyle changes that promote long-term wellness.
Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Shannon, and their two daughters, staying active, and exploring Savannah’s vibrant food scene.
